First of all, we would like to welcome everyone to Pop Culture World News! This project has been in development for quite awhile, and it is with great excitement that we kick off the launch today!

Let’s talk a little first of all about just what exactly will be on Pop Culture World News. Here you will find articles on all the best in the entertainment world, from reviews of your favorite movies, television shows, Blu-rays, comics and books, to awesome celebrity profiles allowing you to go behind the scenes and meet the artists up close and personal.

What you will not find here though is any form of tabloid journalism or gossip. That’s right, no celebrity gossip. Think about it. How would you like us publishing a story about your recent marital woes, or posting some pictures of you with that extra weight you may have put on? It probably would not be too fun for you. That’s why we’re dedicated to giving you actual content and not just a bunch of silly fluff. Having interviewed hundreds of celebrities in the past in all different fields, I have found that for the most part, they are very hard working folks, just like you and I, who are trying their hardest to follow their passions in life.

This does not mean that you’ll just get a bunch of star worshipping here. Not at all. What we do pledge is to provide you with absolutely honest reporting based on integrity. Always. I expect this from myself as well as from anyone who writes for us no matter what the topic may be. If a movie, television show, Blu-ray release or book doesn’t live up to expectations, we’ll say so. But we’ll also explain why. We don’t expect you to agree with us all the time. We want all of our articles to be a conversation between the writer and the reader. We encourage you to leave comments and tell us why you may agree or disagree. Don’t just simply say “that movie was lame.” Tell us why you thought it was lame.

We will have new articles and entertainment news for you each and every day, so make sure and make us a regular stop on your daily browsing. Every month we will also have feature articles that will be spotlighting celebrities as well as individuals who, while they may not be famous, have followed their passions and have done something unique with their lives. Make sure to keep an eye out for these profiles on some really cool people who have stories that will make you laugh or motivate you to follow your own dreams, no matter what they may be.

A key feature of this magazine though that you will soon learn about is our commitment to charity. We believe whole-heartedly that it is up to each of us to do all that we can to help put something positive out into the world, no matter how small it may be. Whenever we find a charity that we think is doing amazing work and one that we feel you should know about, we will spotlight them on our charity page, so make sure and visit regularly to learn how you can help out some great causes.

We will also always welcome feedback, so feel free to contact us with whatever may be on your mind or if there is a story that you are dying to see us cover!

Let’s say we get this crazy train rolling…
